As a technology company, RICHTECH is fully staffed, with oil and gas development team, offshore engineering team and management team. By virtue of the key R&D program of Ministry of Science and Technology-integrated project for design, analysis and verification of deep water floating body of offshore engineering, RICHTECH has set out on its independent journey of research and development of the software platform for collaborative design since 2009. Supported by RICHTECH’s design and development capacity in the field of offshore engineering, this software has realized collaborative design among multiple disciplines and real-time transfer of data generated during design and it can also rapidly evaluate the economical efficiency, safety and relevant performance of different disciplines. Combined with digital submission by the engineering and construction department of CNOOC and management system of offshore assets for full life cycle EDIS1.0, it has become one of the few leading experts in the field of digital technology in China. With the development and rollout of the intelligent operation and maintenance platform used for process industry and for which the company has proprietary intellectual property rights, a digital, visual and intelligent platform has been secured for RICHTECH to serve the energy engineering industry.
Rich experience and excellent performance in offshore engineering endow RICHTECH with modular technology capacity. RICHTECH has successfully transfer the modular technology of offshore engineering to onshore oil and gas fields, LNG liquification, LNG re-gasification and the chemical industry in the past decade. It provides oil companies with preliminary modular solutions and large international engineering companies with detailed modular design services.
